Financial evidence for a UK Standard Visitor visa
There is no official minimum balance. What caseworkers actually look for is whether the money is explainable.

No magic number
The rules set no minimum balance for a Standard Visitor visa. What matters is whether your funds credibly cover the trip you described, alongside your normal commitments at home.
Traceable beats large
A modest balance built from regular salary payments reads better than a large one that appeared last week. Unexplained deposits are the single most common reason financial evidence fails.
If someone else is paying, say so explicitly and provide their evidence and their relationship to you.
What to include
Six months of bank statements covering the account the trip is funded from, payslips or business income evidence, and a short written explanation of any unusual movement. Statements should be original bank documents, not screenshots.
The wider picture
Financial evidence is read together with your circumstances at home. Employment, study, property and family are all part of the same question the caseworker is answering.
